Yesterday, 15 augustus, have Lenard Underwater and Ben Haddock participated in one of the toughest triathlons in existence, nl. de ”Embrunman”. How heavy that was soon will doubtlessly hear from the men. Because I the week before the race had stomach flu he was not fit to start. Unfortunately, he can not finish the race because he had really suffered from the heat. After the bike leg, he was taken out of the race by the organization because he exchanged too late. “In retrospect might be good” Ben was his reaction, “otherwise it was not good last”.
Lenard have reached the finish, in a time of 15 uur en 23 minuten. As he expressed. “Swim went well, bikes was very tough especially the last climb and walk was survival. run after two hours I could make another move that looked a bit like running”.
I take a deep bow my hat off to these two biggies of our association.

Men's hats off though well done Ben and we know you're a rock-you were just unlucky that you were not there for good but that makes you even more dibs through it to see how far you could go. gr Henrie
