Now the triathlon season this year again Ride, it's time to make the personal balance. There were highlights but also lows.
A new triathlon bike (the first) tailored gave me wings in Ter Aar. And I decided to break my promise (Nieuwkoop 2014) to never do a half-triathlon.
De halve triathlon in Amsterdam, with a swim in the IJ and finish on the Museumplein pulled me over. There had also been a lot TVB'ers enrolled at a bargain price, very cozy all.
In March this year the half marathon was also about personal success, and I advanced on my feeling, without schedule. More and more kilometers with bicycle, some swimming there and running in second place, it was still okay, dacht ik.
Indeed it went cycling as a spear, which resulted in a very successful LBL, fantastic weather, and a very pleasant weekend. In the morning, with a very well stocked (Thanks Karin) stomach on the road and very happy again and back in time. A few even earlier than the others, thanks to the convenient location of Coo.
Unfortunately, at the ZZ runs it was getting worse, there was a clear downward trend, and I could not hold the level of the beginning of the year. Although swimming in went quite well, I also noticed out that I had to force it to remain a little close with a workout in the Klinkenbergerplas.
Then everything goes a bit against stand, I missed the buoys as a guide and have dropped out of swimming.
I noticed gradually alongside the disappointment also a remarkable feeling tired in the morning when getting up. That I had never had; every week in morning, week, no matter what I had done, rest or no rest. I thought maybe I should not do this half for the fast time, but to enjoy it. It was quite a struggle to lay me in an entirely different approach, but yes, there really was no other. Train went nowhere better and I even thought I do it for fun, it will under these circumstances still be a grueling exercise.
Actually I had already given up the paper, half of Amsterdam. There also always came from these disappointing announcements; swim in the IJ is canceled, it is the lake at Ouderkerk, running around the Museumplein would not go ahead and finally was asked to bring the bike in Amsterdam in a day in advance.
I had to squeeze myself in knots trying to bring my bike over there and I decided to not show up in Amsterdam.
Much against my habit, I had never given up.
August was our holiday month, and I took my running shoes to America. Fortunately it was too hot to walk fast there, and after three weeks of vacation the morning fatigue was gone.
Next year I'm going good copy, and delete errors(?). For now it is again able to stand on skates and on Friday nightcap as there is always at least one or more croquettes with a suitable sports drink.
Until Friday, Janwim Wattel.

More holiday is the answer:-))
Thanks for the story!
